Description
Become an aerospace engineer as you build your own Mad Science model rocket! We’ll learn about the amazing forces that affect flight and put those forces to the test as we watch our rockets blast off high into the air. For added fun, kids can step into shoes of an astronaut and use their creative problem-solving skills as they take on the role of NASA engineers for a problem faced on Apollo 13. In the afternoon, we'll land closer to earth and make the Wright Brothers proud we follow in their footsteps and test the fundamental principles of flight. Build different types of stunt planes and gliders. Experiment with trick planes and have a contest to see who can build the farthest flying glider!
